Join us this Saturday for our October meeting! We’ll revisit some timeless techniques and a new trick or two at our Basics Boot Camp. Members will rotate through stations brushing up on basic skills and sharing what they know. You don’t want to miss it!
What to bring:
~ Weather Challenge quilts are due this month! Each entry must include:
– $1 Entry Fee
– A label on the quilt back
– Artist’s Statement with your name, town, weather type chosen and a little bit about why you chose it.
Challenge quilts will be displayed at December’s Quilt Showcase.
~October’s Block of the Month is the Wacky Nine Patch.
~Show & Tell. We love seeing what you’ve been up to.
Reminders:
~ Quilt-Along participants (who swapped strips at our March meeting): Create anything you want from your blocks. Your finished projects are due at the NOVEMBER meeting. Directions for making your blocks are HERE. TIP: Be sure the first seam you rip out is a dark fabric and work down from there.
