For our Program, Joy demonstrated how to “make fabric” using scraps to add more variety and pizzazz to our quilts. June’s Block of the Month will use this fabulous technique!

~ May’s meeting will be a Show & Tell / Sew-in! Bring something for Show & Tell and a small something to work on – you can also use the time to cut out your next project! If you attend May’s get-together please TAKE PICTURES to share with those who can’t be there.
~There will be no Block of the Month exchanged at May’s meeting.
~ We are having a pincushion swap! Make and bring a cute pincushion to swap.
~ Pat W. will present our fist large guild challenge. You won’t want to miss it!
~ We will be making “Made Fabric” blocks for June’s Block of the Month, using the technique demonstrated by Joy at April’s meeting.
~We currently have two opportunities to serve our community.
~The Modern Quilt Guild is restructuring, and individual Guilds have options for how they relate to MQG. If you haven’t done so, please go to the MQG’s presentation for all the details. Bring your questions and comments to June’s meeting. The Guild will decide as a group how to proceed in light of these changes.
